My knowledge surrounding tax credits and incentives has earned me a reputation as a national leader on the topic. My approach focuses on delivering you the maximum value for your credit claims and confirming you have defensible documentation supporting your position. I also have a strong background in tax compliance and tax planning for privately held companies in many different industries. This experience has earned me a reputation as a trusted resource in this area.
Schedule a ConsultationAs a tax partner at MGO, I serve businesses in multiple industries, including high-tech, consumer products, software, biotech, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, professional services, and nonprofits.
I’ve conducted more than 450 research and development credit studies for companies in various industries and served as a representative before the IRS and state taxing authorities to defend research credit claims.
I assist my clients with income tax compliance and planning and wealth strategies, which has allowed many to grow their businesses, while saving significant tax as well as transfer business ownership to their heirs, saving substantial amounts in estate taxes. I’m also excited to help you with other tax incentives, accounting methods, federal and state grant programs, and energy and “green” tax incentives, including energy-efficient building incentives.
Throughout my career, I have authored numerous publications and spoken publicly on current tax legislation, research and development tax credit issues, and other business tax incentives in The Tax Advisor, AICPA, ProVisors, California Society of CPAs, the San Diego Business Journal, the Orange County Business Journal and CFO.com, to name a few.
