Our Background

Macias Gini & O'Connell LLP (MGO) is a statewide public accounting and consulting firm, headquartered in Sacramento, California with office locations spanning the Golden State – Oakland, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, Century City, Newport Beach and San Diego. The firm was established in 1987 and, at that time, principally focused on serving the public sector industry area. Today, the firm employs over 230 professionals and provides assurance, tax, advisory and business management services to a wide a variety of industries and individuals.

Since its inception, the firm has evolved and leveraged the strength gained in serving large, complex and highly regulated governmental entities. Through these efforts and our strategic alliance with global leader BDO Seidman LLP, MGO now serves a diverse client base in a variety of industries including broadcast media, entertainment, financial services, life sciences, real estate, restaurants, manufacturing and technology.

After more than two decades of doing business, MGO professionals feel a tremendous sense of pride when reflecting on the clients we serve.
